Madrid is starting to become a bike-friendly city, although there is still a lot to be done. You will find a few bike lanes and more shared lanes with vehicles, where cyclists have priority.
Madrid is built on a series of small hills, so if you’re not used to biking, it might feel a bit uphill.

There are areas in the city that are very well prepared for cycling, such as Retiro Park, Juan Carlos I Park, Casa de Campo, or Madrid Río. These places are perfect for a ride with the whole family, free from cars.

To join one of our bike tours, it is necessary to book at least 24 hours in advance.

For renting bikes or skates, booking is not mandatory, although it is recommended.

Rentals

What is needed to rent a bike or other equipment?

To rent our equipment, we ask customers to bring their DNI, NIE or Passport when picking up the bike/skates, etc., and to sign a rental contract, taking responsibility for the material.
No, minors cannot rent unless they are accompanied by an adult who takes responsibility, or they bring a signed authorization from their parents along with the original ID of the parents.
We have liability insurance, which means that damages caused with Rent&Roll equipment are covered, but not personal injuries or theft.
The customer will not be charged for damage resulting from normal use of the equipment.

The customer is responsible for the equipment when renting it, so in case of theft, the customer must pay the cost of the stolen equipment.

In any case, the rental includes a high-security lock, and we can offer some tips to help prevent thieves from ruining your vacation.
